Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our pharmacy services

Prescriptions

How long does it take to fill a prescription?

Most prescriptions are ready within 15-20 minutes. Complex prescriptions or those requiring special handling may take longer. We'll let you know the expected wait time when you drop off your prescription.

Can I get a prescription refilled early?

Refill timing depends on your insurance plan and state regulations. Most insurance plans allow refills when 75-80% of the medication has been used. Controlled substances have stricter regulations. Our pharmacists can check your eligibility.

How do I transfer a prescription from another pharmacy?

You can transfer prescriptions by filling out our online transfer form, calling us, or visiting in person. We'll contact your previous pharmacy and handle all the paperwork for you.

Can I pick up someone else's prescription?

Yes, you can pick up prescriptions for family members or friends. You'll need to provide the patient's name, date of birth, and show your ID. Some controlled substances require additional verification.

What if my prescription is out of refills?

We can contact your prescriber to request authorization for additional refills. This process typically takes 24-48 hours. For maintenance medications, we recommend calling a few days before running out.

Insurance & Payment

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept most major insurance plans including Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance. Visit our Insurance page for a detailed list, or call us to verify your coverage.

Why did my copay change?

Copay changes can occur due to changes in your insurance plan, moving to a different tier of coverage, meeting your deductible, or entering the Medicare coverage gap. Our staff can help explain any changes.

What if I don't have insurance?

We offer competitive cash prices and can help you find discount programs, manufacturer coupons, and generic alternatives to reduce costs. Ask our pharmacists about available savings options.

Do you offer payment plans?

We understand medications can be expensive. Please speak with our pharmacy staff about payment options if you're having difficulty affording your medications.
